GREEN · the regenerative practice of LIVOLVE

Behind every environmental number is a human story.

GREEN is how LIVOLVE engineers the world we need at the scale of the planet and the things a life actually depends on — food, water, energy, land, livelihoods and communities. We measure it honestly, as one living system. The environmental-engineering instruments here are the part of that work that is live and earning today.

Eco-regenerative Made in India, for the world Of all · by all · for all

Everything GREEN

Not a compliance form. The living systems a good life runs on.

Behind every emissions figure, water reading and waste manifest is a real system — a river, a farm, a household, a livelihood.

Most environmental work treats nature as a reporting obligation. GREEN treats it as what it is: the basic systems every life and every economy actually depends on. Clean air. Drinkable water. Living soil. Energy that doesn't cost the future. Shelter, food and work that hold up a community.

That is the whole of GREEN. The compliance instruments further down are real and earning today — but they are one disciplined entry point into a far larger practice, not the practice itself.

One system — why isolated fixes fail

Depleted soila fragile harvesta strained livelihooda community under pressurea planet past its limitsback to the soil

Everything affects everything. Ecology, livelihoods and wellbeing move each other. You cannot fix one in isolation — which is why a single audit, a single offset, a single product never moves the needle for long. GREEN is built to meet it as one system.

The systems lens

Five elements. One living system.

Pancha Bhuta — earth, water, fire, air and space — is India's oldest systems map of the physical world. GREEN uses it the way an engineer uses a systems diagram: the five elements are the planetary systems every basic need runs on, and the surface every instrument measures.

Sustainable livelihoods & communities

Behind the work, a livelihood.

Regeneration that pays people, not just the planet

A circular-economy model only works when the people inside it are paid fairly and the waste stream becomes an asset. GREEN's applied work designs ventures where environmental restoration and dignified local livelihoods are the same act — not a trade-off.

  • Turning waste streams into materials, products and value
  • Fair, transparent livelihoods for local women's groups and communities
  • Restoration measured in soil, water and species — and in households lifted
Applied case · pro-bono

Phool n Flora

From floral waste to a circular livelihood

India's places of worship and flower markets generate an enormous, continuous stream of floral waste that pollutes rivers and soil. In a validated pro-bono engagement, GREEN helped shape a circular model that diverts that waste into upcycled products — building dignified livelihoods for women's self-help groups around it.

  • A public liability turned into a low-cost, renewable input
  • Decentralised, community-run primary processing
  • Restoration and livelihood, designed as one system
Live & earning today

Where GREEN is real right now.

The breadth above is the practice. This is the disciplined beachhead inside it — fixed-scope environmental-engineering instruments, engineered to standard and delivered as a defensible report.

The instruments

Fixed scope. Fixed price. A defensible deliverable.

Each instrument is a self-contained piece of environmental engineering — scoped up front, priced up front, and returned as a structured report you can put in front of a board, a bank, or a regulator. Expand any instrument below for what it tests against and what the report contains.

Inside each instrument

What it tests against. What the report contains.

Every instrument is built against the actual regulatory and engineering standards — not a generic template. Open one to see the standard, the deliverable, and the failure modes it is designed to prevent.

BRSR · PRINCIPLE 6 — ₹19,500

BRSR Principle 6 disclosure

What it tests against — nine mandatory KPIs

  • GHG — Scope 1, 2 & 3; organisational boundary; factor selection and traceability
  • Water — withdrawal, consumption and discharge reported separately; basin stress
  • Waste — hazardous / non-hazardous; disposal-method breakdown; manifest traceability
  • Energy — intensity, renewable share; reconciled to the Scope 1+2 inventory
  • Materials — virgin / recycled / renewable; input-output mass balance
  • Biodiversity — protected-area and eco-sensitive-zone screen
  • Air emissions — PM, NOx, SOx, VOCs; reconciled to SPCB consents
  • Circular economy — resource productivity, quantified circularity
  • Climate risk — physical and transition risk; scenario analysis

What the report contains

  • A KPI-by-KPI disclosure structure across all nine categories
  • Emissions-boundary definition and factor-selection notes
  • Scope 3 screening across all 15 categories — included or formally explained
  • An assurance evidence-pack structure and reconciliation walkthrough
  • The specific gaps that determine pass-vs-restatement at assurance

Most-common FY24 assurance failures it prevents: Scope 3 under-coverage, missing factor traceability, and conflating water withdrawal with consumption.

Environmental Clearance pathway

What it assesses — six domains

  • Category & schedule — correct A / B entry, thresholds, applicable schedule
  • Consultation & ToR — public-consultation requirement and Terms-of-Reference readiness
  • Location sensitivity — eco-sensitive zones, CRZ, forest and protected areas, interstate buffers
  • Appraisal risk flags — issues that commonly stall technical appraisal
  • Baseline data — air, water, noise, soil, ecology, socio-economics; seasonal adequacy
  • Pathway sequence — screening → scoping & ToR → baseline → EIA report

The deliverable — a Pathway Report

  • Confirmed A / B category with schedule reference and thresholds
  • The baseline studies your specific project will actually require — not a generic list
  • Whether public consultation applies, with location-specific considerations
  • Documented appraisal risk flags with recommended pre-emptive action
  • A realistic end-to-end timeline based on assessed complexity

It prevents the costly re-submission cycle that follows category misclassification, an incomplete ToR response, or a missed location sensitivity — where the cheapest stage to correct scope is before scoping begins.

StandardsEIA Notification 2006 (as amended) · MoEFCC guidelines · applicable state-level instruments
GRIHA · GAP ANALYSIS — ₹15,000–₹25,000

Green-building rating readiness

What it assesses — six GRIHA domains

  • Site & planning — land use, ecology, heat island, connectivity
  • Energy & renewables — ECBC compliance, envelope, HVAC, on-site renewables
  • Water efficiency — fixtures, rainwater harvesting, wastewater reuse
  • Waste management — construction-waste diversion, segregation, operational systems
  • Materials & embodied energy — local sourcing, recycled content, embodied carbon
  • Health & wellbeing — daylight, ventilation, thermal & acoustic comfort, low-VOC

What you receive

  • An indicative achievable star band under current design conditions
  • A gap report by criterion — compliant, partial, or non-compliant across all six domains
  • A prioritised closure plan, ranked by impact-to-cost — rating per rupee
  • A defensible number you can take to a client or financier — analysed, not assumed

It is run before submission, when specification changes are still free: design-stage points are cheap; retrofit points carry compounding cost and schedule risk.

Readiness check

Where does your organisation actually stand?

A short, honest self-assessment drawn from the same questions an audit-grade environmental review would ask. The point is not the score — it is to surface the specific gaps that decide whether your disclosure passes assurance or needs restatement. Nothing is saved or sent; this runs entirely in your browser.

Request the full checklist

A read, not a verdict — based on a representative subset of the full diagnostic. The complete instrument is an engineer-prepared review across every KPI or criterion.

How it works

Send the brief. Get the work back.

01

You send the brief

Tell us the instrument and the basics of your site, building or organisation through the structured intake form. A written brief keeps the assessment reproducible and auditable. No payment is taken on this page for engineering work.

02

Engineered to standard

The work is done against the relevant standard — BRSR Principle 6, the EIA Notification 2006, or the GRIHA rating — with every figure traceable to a published source, not to a template.

03

Delivered as a report

You receive a structured, defensible deliverable you can act on, file, or take to a board, a bank, or a regulator.

Standards we build to

Referenced, versioned, traceable.

Every instrument is grounded in the instruments that actually govern it — recorded with version and year so an assurance reviewer can follow the work.

The compliance horizon

A dated, SEBI-mandated demand curve — not a market guess.

SEBI's BRSR Core circular of 12 July 2023 set a phased expansion of mandatory assurance by market-capitalisation band. Environmental-engineering capacity for verification-grade Principle 6 disclosure cannot be assembled in the last quarter — the firms that build it ahead of their scope-in year hold a structural advantage.

Engineer of record

Built on the discipline, signed off by an engineer.

The technical work on every GREEN instrument is carried out and reviewed by the practice's environmental engineer of record — a credentialled environmental engineer, not a generalist consultant. Emissions factors, scope boundaries and water-stress indices are trained judgements, not transferable from financial practice.

Environmental Clearance readiness is an engineering discipline — not a documentation exercise.

GREEN in the whole

One arm of a larger design.

LIVOLVE engineers a good life and a better world across every dimension of a life — your day, your work, your space, the planet around you. GREEN is the planetary and ecological arm: the part that keeps the living systems healthy enough for the rest to stand on.

Global Life Units — wellbeing measured at the scale of the whole shared home.

Life Units are an illustrative measure of flourishing that scales from a life to the planet — a read, never a financial return, a yield, or a tradable instrument. GREEN is where the ecological dimension of that read becomes real work.

Design good lives. Engineer a better world. Of all, by all, for all.

The measurement layer · roadmap

CARBON runs underneath — as a measurement, never a product.

The instruments above are live and earning today; the wider G.R.E.E.N. movements are built out deliberately and labelled honestly as roadmap until each part is real.

CARBON · the measurement layer

Calculate, adjust, regenerate, offset, normalise. Carbon runs underneath GREEN as a measurement discipline — the way cost and time are measured. It is a measurement here, never a financial product.

No Bank, SIP, Pool, "carbon wealth" or guaranteed-return language is used on this page. Community-funded regeneration runs separately, as charitable work through The Now Foundation (80G) and subject to legal review — it is never sold from here.
