SPACES LIVOLVE · Architecture Studio
Architecture & built-environment studio

Read the space first. Build only as a last resort.

SPACES is the built-environment studio inside LIVOLVE. We design and assess buildings on what the body and the site actually need — daylight, air, water, energy, materials — measured before it is styled. Start with the free read of your own space, then use the studio's working instruments.

The Studio · Instruments

Working tools, not a brochure.

Each instrument runs in your browser and is grounded in published Indian building-science references — CBRI climate zones, IMD rainfall, ECBC energy benchmarks, CPHEEO water norms. Outputs are planning estimates, not guarantees; every result ends in a written breakdown you can request by email.

SPACES Read

The free, do-it-yourself read of any space — room by room, against the five-element Lens and the reduce-first Ladder. It names the method and shows you what to change before you ever rebuild.

The top of the studio. Everything else — the calculators, the systemic work, the build — climbs out of what the Read tells you.

Instrument 01 Live

Building-science calculators

Passive cooling potential, rainwater harvesting yield, and energy-efficiency savings — three evidence-based calculators with their sources shown.

Instrument 02 Live

Society water-resilience

A water-balance plan for an apartment society or campus — reduce, reuse and recharge held against real demand and rainfall before anything new is built. Proposal-quoted, from ₹50,000.

Spatial 3D viewer

Walk a concept in three dimensions — orientation, massing, daylight and negative space read as material before anything is built.

Built-work showcase

Selected projects read as a gallery — plan, section, performance — the studio's record rather than its promises.

Whole-Home + Terrace · the complete stack

Home & Terrace Complete

All three room packs and the zero-waste terrace, planned as one system — so the air, light, water and waste loops indoors and out work together, not as four rooms that ignore each other. The most complete starting point for a regenerative home.

Method

A Lens to judge it. A Ladder to change it.

Every SPACES engagement runs on two things: the five building-science lenses we judge a space by, and the order in which we are allowed to change it. Each has a number behind it — not a mood board.

The Lens Five elements, measured before styled.

A space is judged on how it performs for the people inside it — held to five lenses, each with evidence behind it.

01 · Light
Daylight
Orientation and openings tuned to the sun path, not the floor plan's convenience.
02 · Air
Ventilation
Passive cooling and air movement sized to the local climate zone.
03 · Water
Water balance
Harvest, reuse and recharge designed against real demand and rainfall.
04 · Energy
Energy use
Performance held to ECBC benchmarks, with payback shown honestly.
05 · Material
Materials
Embodied impact and longevity weighed alongside cost and feel.

The Ladder Reduce first. Rebuild last.

Most building problems are solved by working with what is already there. SPACES climbs the ladder in order — each rung exhausted before the next is considered. New construction is the last rung, not the first.

Rung 01
Reduce
Cut the demand first — heat, glare, load, water — by changing how the existing space is used.
Rung 02
Reuse
Put what's already on site back to work — greywater, materials, existing structure.
Rung 03
Recycle
Close the loops — water, waste and materials returned rather than discarded.
Rung 04
Regenerate
Leave the site measurably better — recharge, planting, soil and air restored.
Rung 05
Rebuild
New construction, only once the first four rungs cannot meet the need.
Last resort
Work with us

Read first, then bring us in.

Read your space for free, run the instruments, then send the brief they produce — we respond with a structured assessment and a clear scope. Systemic engagements, like society water-resilience, are productised and proposal-quoted, delivered as documents and models.
